Policy

  • Adopt an energy savings target for the public building portfolio to reduce energy demand by at least 30% and report progress using an energy management system

Pilot Program

  • Develop and implement a program for energy management of public buildings in support of the energy saving target, which will include portfolio benchmarking, energy audits, operational and maintenance improvements, the introduction of energy efficiency standards and promotion of energy performance contracts
