Renovating Romania, developed by BEA partner BPIE and active in Bucharest, is Romania’s effort to meet their commitment to Article 4 of the Energy Efficiency Directive. This strategy targets reducing CO2 emissions from buildings by as much as 80% by 2050 (compared to 2010) and is being pursued through a combination of energy-efficiency measures and widespread deployment of renewable resources in and on buildings.
