Nakuru received a BEA Leadership Grant with support from the Kenya Green Building Society for kickoff workshops on the development of green building guidelines.
While developing these guidelines, Nakuru has hosted several workshops with more coming in the future. Ultimately, these guidelines will result in a pilot project employing guideline-compatible retrofits.
