City of Bogota, Colombia Green Building Council Enable Implementation of National Code

As countries around the world ramp up ambition toward global climate and development goals, Bogotá’s experience is an example of why they should look to cities for “ground-truthing.” The Colombia Green Building Council, as part of the BEA partnership’s work in Bogota, spearheaded the development of a national policy establishing technical guidelines for the local implementation of the country’s 2015 sustainable construction code.
